To boost the international growth of a startup venture, a range of promotional actions are required. They aim to enhance visibility and open doors to global markets, and are essentially carried out in the framework of the sector-specific plan drawn up by the Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region.

French Tech Hubs boost France's attractiveness in all fields of innovation.
They aim to structure the Toulouse-based French Tech community in a given international location, to accelerate global networks and foster the rapid growth of French startups within that geographical market.

Madeeli, the agency in charge of economic development, export and innovation for Midi-Pyrénées, works to foster economic development throughout the new Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée region and boost innovation within businesses. The area covered by Toulouse Métropole represents 50 % of the regional agency's activity.

The Midi-Pyrénées CCI or Regional CCI (chamber of commerce and industry) is in charge of international programmes, by delegation from the Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region, among others.

How it works

The French Tech Pass is a programme to support businesses with a very high growth rate. Set up and led by some of the major national names in the field of startup development - Bpifrance, Ubifrance, Coface, INPI and AFIC – the programme offers selected businesses a range of made-to-measure services including:

A first-rate, coordinated service, based on the principle of a specific contact interface for each partner in the programme.
A funding aspect that includes introducing investors and providing support during funding campaigns.
Enhanced visibility for participating businesses, which are cited in the promotional media of the other partners.

How to obtain your Pass

The regional Pass operators are responsible for coordinating the programme within their French Tech Métropoles and for identifying eligible businesses.
The selection criteria applied are largely objective and quantitative. They include a set of financial indicators such as actual and forecast turnover growth and certain profitability ratios, among others. The French Tech Pass regional partners meet up several times a year as committees to decide which businesses have met these criteria and will be awarded the Pass.
